Changes and Negotiations through Launchpad
Negotiating Bids through Launchpad is a simple process. But before we start, these are some important considerations:
- If an RFP is blocked, no worries! That just means the Hotel Sales Team is reviewing your bid. If you need to make urgent changes before the hotel reviews, you can click the three dots to "Edit RFP admin".
- Any changes you make will pop up in orange for the other party to see, and any edits the hotel makes will also be highlighted in orange in your portal. That way, everyone stays on the same page!
Let the fun begin! Ready to get those contracts signed? These are the steps:
- Step 2: Renegotiate, accept or decline a bid
- Step 3: Generate and Sign the Contract
Step 1: Receive a bid from the hotel
Once you have submitted an RFP, the hotel will have to review, and set new parameters depending on their policies, inventory and rates! Every change made by the hotel will appear in ORANGE color on your end! So you will be able to see what are the terms that are being renegotiated!
Let's say that the hotel has made a change, and they have changed from a Courtesy agreement to a 30% attrition contract, but you cannot accept attrition contracts, so you want to start a direct negotiation. In this case, you can select the "comment" button, and send a direct message to the hotel representative handling the RFP.
NOTE: All the terms on an RFP can be changed and negotiated. If any term is non-negotiable, it can be locked with the lock icon. Step 2: Counter Bid, Accept or Decline an RFP!
At this point, the hotel can either accept the bid or counter-bid. In both cases, you will receive an email notification, and a notification through the platform, as shown below:

Step 4: Generate and Sign the Contract
And voilà, you’re almost there! This is the final step to complete the RFP process. To wrap it all up, check out our article "STEP 3: Generate and Sign the Contract" to learn all the details about what happens next. We’ve got you covered every step of the way!
